Main Objective
To strengthen formal and informal structure capacities to better understand and promote children rights governance in Karamoja Region.
Specific Objectives
- Strengthening systems and mechanisms at national and local levels for the monitoring and reporting on child governance (CRG) in Uganda,
- Capacity building of the government of Uganda towards accountability for the rights of children,
- Knowledge and capacity of children, care givers, community members, civil society and WSF to respect and promote child rights.e.
Results of the project
- The current situation, challenges and possible solutions regarding actual and potential conflicts related to children rights.
- The capacity of CSOs, and local community to understand, prevent, manage and refer violation of rights of children
- Communication Mechanisms are established to increase people’s access to, understanding of and benefits from information on human rights and governance.
