Results of the project

• Riamiriam has built capacity of 8 CSOs and this has strengthened the CSOs to become more grounded in social accountability work.  The capacity gained by the partners has been poured to the community and this is reflected in their ability to identify issues and engage duty bearer through evidence based reporting.
• Conducted sixteen (16) engagement/dialogue meetings, four (4) in each district between the civil society organisations, district leaders and the district local governments. All these dialogues have helped to bridge the gaps among different stakeholders in service provision.
• Supported member organisations to participate in twelve (12) district local planning and budgeting processes. The members were able to securitize the budgets and their implications to the poor women and men.
• Conducted twelve (12) CSO leaders and local government reflection meetings. These meetings enabled the CSOs and local government authorities to identify the gaps and setting targets for their achievements or fulfilment.
• Documented and shared information on the best practices. The results of best practices are being replicable in some other similar interventions.
• Strong coordination and linkage built with advocacy partners for improved project delivery.
