Management Structure

Riamiriam’s organ-gram is in such a way that the general assembly is at the top (member organizations), followed by Board of Directors. At the Secretariat level Organization is headed by Executive Director, assisted by a Programme Manager and Finance and Administration Manager. The Program team is recruited based on different respective funded projects.

Riamiriam is governed by a Board of Directors who are directly elected by the Annual General Meeting (AGM) after a period of year 3-year term and Meets 4 times a year to share updates on the performance of the Network and provide recommendations in accordance to the mandate and procedures given to the them by the organizational constitution. The Board is responsible for, among others: Provide an oversight of the governance of the organization, review of Policies; Review and approval of annual work plans and budgets; Oversight on the human resource processes, Promotion of the public image of the organization; Mobilization of resources; Monitoring and evaluation of the organization’s operations, and also appointment of Auditors and approval of Audit Reports.

The Network renders its services to the constituency through a professional Secretariat headed by the Executive Director. The Director provides overall accountability for Action; ensure contractual obligations fulfilled and manage donor relationship; overall supervisory responsibility for financial and narrative periodic monitoring, evaluation and reporting; manage partnerships and networking with stakeholders as well as providing programme oversight and compliance with donor guidelines and ensure quality of donor reporting. The Executive Director is assisted by Programs Manager who ensures action processes, planning, implementation in accordance with the action’s targets and timelines, supports the Program and Project Officers with daily management and implementation of activities and ensuring timelines are met. Finance and Administration Manager is responsible in ensuring the compliance with financial procedures, budgeting and quality assurance of financial reporting; supports audits/financial verification processes and also support audits and expenditure verification.

The Finance, operations officers and other support staff work under Finance and Administration Manager while program team works under Program Manager with well-defined roles and responsibilities.
